A new Thunderbird 2 Shaun the Sheep is to be unveiled as part of the next charity arts trails from Shaun in the City. Anderson Entertainment and Shaun in the City have been working together for several months on the project, alongside ITV to give the Thunderbird 2 Shaun the green light.
From 6th July to 31st August, the charity are bringing 70 b-ewe-tiful giant Shaun the Sheep sculptures, created by artists, designers and celebrities, to iconic locations and green spaces across Bristol for the public to enjoy.
Both flocks of Shauns, including the Thunderbird 2 version, will go to auction later in the year, with funds raised from the 70 Bristol sculptures going to The Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children’s Hospital Charity and funds raised from the 50 London sculptures benefitting Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Charity, supporting children in hospitals across the UK.
Shaun in the City is brought to you by the team that created the award-winning Gromit Unleashed, which saw Aardman’s loveable canine sidekick Gromit help raise £5 million for Bristol Children’s Hospital.
